Ending the vicious cycle . . .

So we all have our own personal weaknesses and we also witness patterns of others around us. We sometimes feel like the world is crumbling beneath our feet, and can't seem to break the chain of the repeating cycle of events. Regardless of the number of times you have been placed into a given circumstance, this pattern can be changed. This can be in regards to certain relationship patterns, career issues, paths to a healthier life, self-improvement, etc. Life in its entirety, is played out as we see it and feel it. If we expect the "sh!t to hit the fan", or think and feel ideas of, "this is just how my life is going to be", it will indeed make it so. I can't tell you how many times a day I see postings on Facebook or other social media sites, where people post just one little abbreviation: FML! (Okay maybe one of two actually.) The other being: MLS! For those of you that aren't familiar with the latest "text messaging" lingo, the first is "Expletive starting with F" My Life!, and the latter is My Life Sucks! If only they knew that each time they bring focus to such dismay and their "lack of control" in the universe, they are essentially attracting more of the same. No one said it would be easy, but the key and the end goal is to recognize it, and make every attempt to change that focus. Find the good or positive things in your life and embrace them, acknowledge them and take back control of your own well-being. Take the high road, climb a mountain, or do whatever it takes to remind yourself that it's much more gratifying to focus on the positive.
