Coping, Healing & Releasing of Emotional Blocks - (The Dealings with Feelings)
Many people deal with some level of emotional baggage, and each handle it in their own way. Some simply make jokes to make light of it, and appear to just grin and bear it, and then press on. Others speak openly about it and express their acceptance, through explaining what they've learned from those experiences. There are also those who might experience more severe effects leading to denial or repressed memories. Regardless of which category you may fall under, it could result in you unknowingly carrying the emotional blocks relating to these past experiences, and ultimately effecting other areas of your life. Past issues of abandonment or separation anxieties, abuse (personally victimized or in witness to), public ridicule, bereavement or loss, fears, tramatic events, or even just one small event, may have completely and unrealistically altered your perception of something. The healthiest way to resolve any lingering long-term effects is by: 1 - acknowledging, 2 - developing new patterns of coping and healing, 3 - releasing past negative emotional blocks. This releasing of emotions can be done in a gradual, but progressive step by step process allowing for a safe, guided re-direction, that is performed at a comfortable pace for each individual client. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) are often used to help in scaling down the intensity, to which someone is feeling or reacting to something. EFT is a highly effective tapping technique, that can be used in most hypnotherapy sessions, as well as in other healing modalities across the globe.
